The early career investigator symposium highlights scientific work from all trainees at SWAAPM institutions.  The MedPhys SLAM is a short pitch competition to a lay audience.  The winner of MedPhys SLAM will go on to represent our region at the AAPM National Meeting!  Cash prizes will be awarded for the best ECIS and MedPhys SLAM presentations at the meeting.  Abstract submissions are due November 6th, 2026.

The 2027 meeting of the Southwest Chapter of AAPM will be held February 11-13th at the Downtown Marriott in Little Rock, Arkansas.  Help shape the content of the 2027 SWAPPM Annual meeting by submitting an abstract for the scientific sessions to be held at the meeting. We encourage the submission of abstracts covering novel research, clinical workflow improvements, quality and safety initiatives, and other topics of relevance that you feel may be of interest to the SWAAPM membership. Please limit your submission to 2000 characters or less.
